This new blog is an attempt to curb the burgeoning wardrobe collection, stop the stockpiling of striped tops and focus on what's really needed. It's a kind of Spring clean. I have written a fashion piece for Red magazine (March 2011) and I thought I should show you the rigorous testing behind it. Let me know what you think.Launched 1st Feb 2011....

Day Seventeen

So we are at the end of the 'eighteen' pieces. You can make multiple outfits by simply switching around the tops and jackets and the mac goes with everything. The ruff will go over the pink lighweight knit, the stripe knit, the silk tee, the sweat dress and the black cashmere knit. The leather goes over all of these outfits except the knakis - it's a bit too army. The short sleeve jacket looks best over a fitted top so the navy ruffle shirt, the white linen tee, the mauve linen knit and the white shirt with peter pan collar. All that's missing are evening choices - the navy ruffle and silk cotton trousers works or dress up the ruff and white linen tee and add a real party shoe. For more information see my article in the March issue of Red.
